UPSTANDERS & KINDNESS CLUB

Upstanders & Kindness Club is an after school club that connects peers in a safe space to learn about and discuss acceptance, kindness, and how they go together within our school and community. We are honored to spend this hour with your child. The club is open to all TK-5th grade students.

Meetings begin with a simple snack, book read aloud and discussion, and a craft or activity. Our focus remains on building a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for all participants and our goal is to empower kids to build real world skills to use at school, home, and within the community to make our world a more kind place for everyone.

Please give your student a note that they give to their teacher with your permission to attend the Upstanders & Kindness Club. Include the dates you would like your student to attend. The note is intended to eliminate misunderstandings about your permission and keep the club open to all students.

Schedule

The club meets one Friday each month for the entire school year. We meet from 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM in room K-1.
