State Preschool Enrollment Opens April 1!

Applications for enrollment open on Wednesday, April 1, 2026!
The program is available for children who will be age three or four by December 1. Visit the Amador State Preschool page to see enrollment requirements and start your application.

A Window Between Worlds

Join us for a no-cost Healing Arts Workshop where you can explore how art helps with processing emotions and past experiences. Connect with a supportive group in a warm and welcoming space, and use creativity as a tool for healing and self-discovery.

California College Savings Account Program

CalKIDS is a program from the State of California that funds up to $1,500 in free money for eligible low-income public school students to save for college and career training. Visit CalKIDS.org to claim your account.

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642.Ā 

ACOE Open Session will begin at 5:30 pm.
ACUSD Open Session will begin at 7:00 pm.

Celebrations

Adult Transition Field Trip

On Friday, our Adult Transition class explored Assistive Technology at the Society for the Blind in Sacramento! Many students with extensive support needs also have associated diagnoses of visual impairment, so this was a great opportunity for staff and students alike.

Student Career Fair

Last week, Argonaut AVID hosted a college and career fair for Pioneer Elementary students. Argonaut students created hands-on activities to introduce career pathways, and Pioneer students learned all about college, trade school, and the military.

School Farm Logo Contest Winner

We are excited to announce the winner of the School Farm logo contest: Hailey LeBel from Mr. Tearpak's class at Amador High School!

We look forward to showcasing all of the logo contest entries in the near future. Thank you to every student who participated.
